Art that feels handmade, bright, and exactly like you.

Before my daughter Bonnie was born, I did what every expectant mom with a Pinterest board and a very specific vision does:

I searched everywhere for the perfect art for her nursery.

I wanted something that felt handmade. Bright but not chaotic. Playful but not babyish. Something that felt like me — not like I'd grabbed it from a big-box store because I ran out of time.

I couldn't find it.

So I painted her artwork myself.

Hi, I'm Katie!

A watercolor artist, a mom, a licensed architect, and a deeply committed home cook who will absolutely make pizza with dough from scratch if you come over on a Friday.

I live in Houston with my husband Nathan, our daughter Bonnie, and our rescue pup Winnie.

The safari and jungle animals I painted for Bonnie's nursery became the foundation of everything here.

And somewhere between mixing the perfect shade of green and watching her grow up in that room, I realized I wasn't the only one looking for art that felt like this.

There's a woman — maybe you — scrolling Etsy at 11pm, seventeen tabs open, and no artwork feels quite right.

Everything is too cutesy or too stark or too mass-produced. You have a clear feeling in your head but can't find it anywhere.

Sound familiar?

You're who I make art for.

Every piece in this shop is painted by hand with loose watercolor and ink.

No AI. No mass-produced factory.

Just me, my studio, and a very opinionated four-year-old who occasionally offers creative feedback.

Need a little creative break?

Come wander around.

I paint, I narrate, I share what's inspiring me — and occasionally I talk about what's for dinner.

My YouTube channel and blog are a little corner of the internet that moves a bit slower than your feed. No agenda. Just color, process, and the occasional tangent.
