The only email today that won't spike your cortisol

Happy Tuesday, friend!

The holiday week is officially ON, which means one of two things is true for you right now:

  1. You’re off work and blissfully existing with your only responsibility of deciding when to make your next cup of coffee.
  2. You’re at your desk “working,” which really looks like scrolling gift guides and trying to remember if you already bought wrapping paper last year.

No shame. This is a judgment-free zone.

But let’s be honest:

Your inbox is a full-on Black Friday carnival right now. Flashing lights, blinking banners, “BUY NOW!! LIMITED TIME!!” energy everywhere.

It’s exciting… and also *deeply exhausting*.

If you woke up today with zero plan, no running list, no budget strategy, and absolutely no idea what you’re supposed to “add to cart” before midnight?

Same.

Grab my hand. I’ve got you.

I added over 2,000+ product variants to the shop this year (typing that feels insane), so if the thought of scrolling through all of those makes you want to lie face-down on the floor, keep reading.

I’m here to make this the easiest part of your week.

Inside My Studio

Here’s the deal:

If you’re overwhelmed, you likely

  • don’t know which size works
  • don’t know what frames to buy
  • don’t know what will arrive in time
  • don’t know what looks good together

…you do not have to figure that out alone.

Give me the details and I’ll matchmake for you — a custom curated list from me to you.

Direct links, sizes chosen, frame suggested, zero guesswork.

Consider me your very own art concierge this week.

And because I fully believe you deserve ease this year?

Everything is 20% off, now until Tuesday December 2.

No code needed, nothing to memorize.  Just add to cart and it will do the math for you.

Go grab a holiday-spiced mocha and let me handle the hard part.

Hit reply with some thoughts today and I’ll get back with you this week!

But hey, if “scrolling the shop like it’s Netflix” is your version of joy?
Please, enjoy the scroll. Your shopping cart awaits.

What I'm Cooking

I need… an entire documentary series to unpack this chili crisp from Good Things.

I planned to make giardiniera (my go-to friend gift thai year) and maybe try Samin’s chili crisp someday… when I felt brave enough to peel three heads of garlic and emotionally prepared for an all-day cooking project.

Well, “someday” arrived.

I ordered the Calabrian chiles, grabbed everything else at the grocery store, queued up my food processor, and got to work.

Peeling all that garlic?

My personal villain origin story.  I’ll be searching for pre-peeled next time.

But once everything was toasted, sizzling, and perfuming my kitchen with “cozy but spicy,” it all came together fast.

The verdict?

🔥 A perfect little Goldilocks of heat — spicy enough to wake you up but not send you into fight-or-flight.

Paired it with roasted chicken → made Samin’s chili crisp chicken salad → stood at the counter and inhaled it like a gremlin.

Breakfast, lunch, snack.
No notes.

Go make it this week and pair it with the gobs of leftover turkey that are likely to sit around after Thursday.

Creative Sparks

The humble paper chain?
She’s had her makeover scene moment.

Velvet ribbon chains are the cozy-meets-elegant craft I didn’t know I needed. I’m obsessed with this gorgeous color combo for the holidays — and if the 2” velvet ribbon sells out (inevitable), I’m absolutely making a pink/red version for Galentine’s.

Galentine’s vision:
A velvet garland draped above a table set with a tablecloth illustrated in my favorite romance tropes and low-stress girl-dinner moments.

Yep. That’s my official Q1 2026 craft mission.

And if you want something simpler? These little bow drapes are precious and far less likely to involve a hot glue gun injury while Mr. Napkinhead plays in the background. 'Tis the Jude Law season.

What I'm Reading

I devoured Brimstone faster than should be legal.
So fun. So dramatic. Already emotionally preparing to wait for book three.

Currently sprinkling in a few Elsie Silvers and planning a small stack of holiday romances to carry me through the next few weeks.

Coming Up...

If you want to try a cozy little hobby over the holidays, I’ve started a watercolor supply list right here. I’ll keep adding my must-have items this week.

Once you’ve grabbed your supplies, head to my YouTube channel where you can paint a recipe illustration with me — a perfect heartfelt gift for someone you adore.

Deep breaths. Warm mugs. Cozy corners.
We’ve got this.

TLDR: 20% off in the shop until next Tuesday, Dec 2
