A sewing experiment, new art, and a 2025 dinner party resolution.
Instead of jumping headfirst into resolutions on January 1, I’m embracing a slower start—January as hibernation, February as awakening, and March as full momentum.
Think yoga flow over HIIT workout.
At the end of last year, inspiration struck: What if I combined my love of cooking, art, and surface pattern design in a new way? After sitting with the idea for a few months, I’m finally ready to share it with you...
2025: I'm going to host a dinner party on a tablecloth I designed from scratch!
The past few years have been a whirlwind (hello, motherhood), but I finally feel like me again—mentally, physically, creatively. And I can’t wait to bring fresh work to life.
I’ve got a theme in mind for this tablecloth, and I’ll share it with you next week!
To keep the creativity flowing, I’m starting a new studio update series—popping into your inbox every first and third Tuesday of the month with a behind-the-scenes look.
Oh, and in the spirit of making things by hand, I’m attempting to sew for the first time—on my grandmother’s vintage sewing machine that is built into a desk. No clue if it still works (or if I can even thread a needle), but sewing a simple rectangle seems like a good place to start.
Inside My Studio
New Safari Jungle Individual Animal prints
After over a year of tweaking, waiting for the right moment, and perfecting colors, these playful animals are finally ready for their debut! They now come in a refined palette of green, pink, blue, gray, and a new indigo shade—my nod to the rich tones of traditional indigo dyeing for a moodier, more sophisticated feel.
I know the baby animal art market is crowded, but I wanted something that felt missing: chic yet playful, with a bit more whimsy than the usual.
P.S. I had the COOLEST text this week: a friend took their daughter to the pediatrician in a different state and my safari jungle print was hanging on the wall!
What I'm Cooking
Pinch of Yum's bang bang salmon
This one’s quickly becoming a staple in my kitchen—quick, flavorful, and approved by both husband and toddler. The cucumber-avocado salsa is the perfect fresh contrast to the saucy, zingy salmon, and best of all, it comes together in under 15 minutes. Highly recommend for busy weeknights!

This poem: You keep going
I’ll be painting this simple but powerful poem to hang in my studio—because sometimes, this all we need to hear.
I hope this Twice-Tuesday newsletter brings us closer, in a way that feels more intentional than the endless scroll of social media. If you’re craving connection without the pressure of the “grid,” I’m right there with you.
And stay tuned—next week, I’ll be sharing the theme for my tablecloth project. I cannot wait!
Until then, keep going.
